Sharon Wolf was born Sharon Eileen Yuracka, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in the Spring of 1949. She graduated from Bloomsburg State Teacher's College, where she prepared for a 43 year career in Special Education.
Sharon and John raised three children, Chris, Sarah and Pete in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. They lived 70 miles from New York, 60 miles from Philadelphia. A busy, busy time in a busy, busy place.
She's Nanna to five grown granddaughters now. Corin, Carly, Gabby, Jocelyn and Alexa. She and John have been living in the Four Corners area, 7,000 feet up on the Colorado Plateau, since 1997. She concluded her teaching career with a 14 year stint at an elementary school on the Navajo Nation.
Sharon’s paintings are anchored in the world of nature, She paints what she has seen and is seeing, and what she loved and is loving.
